Old Thousand is a neighborhood Chinese restaurant on Austin’s east side. We offer an eclectic and inventive mix of flavors, ingredients, and styles with modern interpretations of classic American-Chinese recipes. At 11th Street, we are known for our unique take on Chinese-American fusions and amazing cocktails and bar that pair perfectly with all the flavor profiles on our menu! Our traditional Chinese decorations, mixed with a twist of Austin funk, provide a unique atmosphere that will leave your guests starstruck. Our space is perfect for birthday parties, corporate parties, kid-friendly events, and bridal and wedding showers, just to name a few!

Large Group Dining – Seating in our main dining room for 16-20 guests. Restaurant Buyout- Private rental of restaurant accommodating up to 75 guests seated or 125 reception style.
Bar Room– Semi-private room with seating at bar height tables for 16-30 guests.
As we have many spaces to book, and your party’s needs are always unique, please inquire about pricing options!
Please Note, That groups of 16+ are required to use a family style menus that you must select ahead of time!
Patio seating is season and weather dependent!
