We came all the way from Los Angeles to New York to celebrate my birthday, and choosing Talavera for my birthday dinner was the absolute best decision! From the moment we walked in, everything was perfect.<br>The food was incredibly delicious. I ordered the enchiladas, and they were flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. But the biggest surprise of the night was my 9-year-old daughter's meal. She is normally a very picky eater, but she ordered the salmon and absolutely loved it. It was so good that she actually ate the entire plate! Any parent knows that pleasing a picky eater is a huge win, so compliments to the chef!<br>A huge shoutout to our server, Carolina. She made my birthday feel extra special. She was so warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with the menu. She was always checking on us at just the right times, making sure our drinks were full and that we had everything we needed. Her attentive and friendly service really took our dining experience to the next level.<br>The atmosphere was lovely, the food was spectacular, and the service was top-notch. Coming from LA, we have high standards for great food, and Talavera completely blew us away. Thank you, Talavera and Carolina, for making my New York birthday dinner so memorable!

When you are in the mood for a from start to finish experience this is where you head ! I went twice in the same week. I wanted to catch some weekend vibes so I pulled up with the family. Everyone was satisfied. I had to run it back because I didn’t try the bone marrow dish , figured taco Tuesday was worth it. This place definitely didn’t disappoint. The chef even had made pastrami tostada 🤤. Wasn’t prepared but best believe my stomach made room lol it’s by Jarvis center and before the tunnel so it’s an easy commute in or around the city. Peter along with Chef made sure every bit of this outing was an experience. Besides that the whole venue has matching themes with a modern bathrooms too. For those traveling with kids this is your reassurance to bring the whole family because they have actual child changing tables that aren’t flimsy or cheap looking . Fully satisfied!!!! Definitely gonna have to consider corporate “ team building “ events because they have so much space to accommodate with. Let them know it’s your first time and they’ll take care of the rest.

Had a blast the ribeye tacos and the sizzling fajitas are great . Angelica is an amazing host and gave us her top choices to eat for dinner . She cares so much about the place she even explained all the dishes to us and helping me with hosting my birthday here .
