Sam's Table

We celebrated Valentine’s Day here and it was amazing! Food was delicious, service was incredible and the space had really great atmosphere. Hard to find a restaurant that has great food and great vibes. We will be back for sure! Highly recommend!

Had a wonderful dining experience celebrating our son's wedding at Sam's Table the other evening. We chose the tasting menu, and we were glad we did. When I first looked at the concisely written menu, I was a bit skeptical, given the prices. Once the food came, however, it occurred to me that perhaps the menu is simpler and less descriptive than most in order to enhance the "surprise factor" of the food. This is food as art! The celery root broth was an explosion of flavor in the mouth, a great opener to the meal. The house made rye bread (extra charge, and worth it) was dense and moist, with a crisp crust, served with room temperature butter. The Badger Flame beets salad was delicious and complex. The charred celtuce (a thick-stemmed lettuce, I learned) and uni was an umami "flavor bomb". The boneless pork chop with smoked scallop xo and brussels sprouts was moist and spicy, absolutely delicious. I had the mandarin dessert (also an additional charge), which was tart and refreshing, but creamy and soothing at the same time. We chose two bottles of Beneduce wine, the dry riesling to start and a the winery's signature Blaufrankisch red. Both were perfect pairings with the food we ordered. In the interest of full disclosure, I first met Sam when he was working with Michael Ceraldi up here in Cape Cod, and I know his father Brian (an extraordinary artist) and mother Deborah from the art world. Nevertheless, I would not be writing this review were I not genuinely enthusiastic about my experience at Sam's Table.

We were absolutely blown away by our experience at Sam’s Table. You can truly see and taste the passion, creativity, and thought that go into every dish. Each one was brilliant, showcasing its star ingredient with remarkable respect and care.<br><br>Over the last few years, my partner and I have been slowly working our way through the city’s Michelin starred restaurants, and I can genuinely say that our experience at Sam’s Table surpassed many of them. The experience punches well above its price. From the exceptional food and meticulous attention to detail to the thoughtful service, every aspect of the experience felt incredibly special. It was my wife’s birthday, and even the small card waiting on the table was such a nice touch.<br><br>We feel incredibly lucky to have had this experience and will be talking about this meal for a long time to come.
