Private event venue in Oceanside, CA | Rosewood Kitchen Rosewood Kitchen sits at 608 Mission Ave in downtown Oceanside, and it has been feeding this neighborhood since 2019. The food is Japanese-Mexican, built by chef Joshua Ramirez. Birria goes into ramen. Carnitas go into a Tokyo-style torta. Karaage chicken and shrimp tempura end up in street tacos on corn tortillas made in-house. Nothing on the menu is a gimmick; it's what happens when two cuisines Joshua loves share one kitchen. Rosewood is also a gallery. Local artists rotate through the space, so the room you ate in last month won't look the same this month. On weekday afternoons, Low Tide happy hour runs from 2 to 5. At night, Rosewood turns into Oceanside's late spot for food, drinks, and live music on event nights.
