Leave a ReviewGreat ambiance, friendly staff, and delicious food!

We ordered the deluxe bbq kebab pack. The food came out quickly. The meat was juicy and tender. The portion size was more than enough for our family of four. We’ll definitely be back!
A Great Family Dining Experience at Reef Zaman

My family and I recently had the opportunity to dine at Reef Zaman, a Mediterranean restaurant, and overall, we had a really enjoyable experience.

There were five of us, and I initially wanted to order a Family Pack to make things a little easier on my wallet 😊. But, of course, that plan didn't work out! Everyone had different tastes and ended up ordering something different.

We started with one of their Signature Plates — Chicken Shawarma, which comes with two side items. The shawarma was very flavorful, and the portion size was generous. Definitely a satisfying plate.

Next was the Lamb Shank, and this was one of the highlights for me. The meat was incredibly tender and practically falling off the bone. It was a good-sized shank served with plenty of vegetables in a delicious gravy. It also comes with two side items.

We also ordered the Half Rotisserie Chicken, which comes with two sides. The chicken had a nice smoky flavor, and the spices complemented it well. However, I felt the meat itself could have used a little more flavor. Perhaps a longer marinade would allow the spices to penetrate deeper into the meat and make it even better.

The last entrée was the Double Kebab Plate. I chose the Kafta and Filet Mignon skewers, along with two sides. The Filet Mignon was tender and full of flavor. The Kafta had good flavor as well, although it was a little on the dry side.

All of the main dishes came with a good portion of rice(super flavor full) or fresh baked pita bread, which made the meals quite filling.

Now, let's talk about the side dishes, because they deserve some attention!

The Baba Ghanoush was absolutely fantastic. Honestly, I don't remember having one this good in a long time. The Hummus was also really good — no complaints there.

The Fries surprised me. They were fresh, thick, and nicely seasoned. I'm normally not a big fan of fries and rarely eat them, but these were hard to stop eating!

The Tabbouleh Salad was fresh and flavorful, with no complaints there either.

The Garlic Potatoes were tender and packed with flavor.

The Cucumber Yogurt was also really good and paired especially well with the rotisserie chicken. It added a nice, refreshing flavor to the chicken.

For drinks, we tried the Raspberry Lemonade and Watermelon Lemonade, and both were excellent. They were refreshing and full of flavor.

One nice touch is the complimentary Kahwah, which customers can help themselves to. However, it would be good if the staff checked on it regularly to make sure it's available. When we were there, it had run out.

Overall, we had a very good experience. The staff was friendly, the ambiance and décor were pleasant, and the portions were generous. Best of all, the meal wasn't too heavy on the wallet, especially considering how much food we ordered.

I definitely plan on going back.

One piece of advice: If you're planning to visit during a busy time, I would recommend making a reservation in advance. We didn't have a reservation, but fortunately, the wait wasn't too long.

One small area for improvement: The Kafta and Filet Mignon skewers were both a little dry and somewhat smaller in portion than expected. They were cooked well and had good flavor, but perhaps they stayed on the grill just a little too long. It's also possible they were cooked earlier and sat on the plate while the other items were being prepared so everything could be served together. Either way, a little more moisture and a slightly larger portion would make these even better.

Overall, Reef Zaman is definitely worth a visit. Good food, generous portions, friendly service, nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices make it a place I'd be happy to return to with my family.
