Private event venue in Woodland Hills, CA | Prose Kitchen & Bar Prose Kitchen & Bar is an elevated-casual restaurant on Ventura Blvd in Woodland Hills, serving California cuisine with global influences, a full bar program, and a patio. It's a warm, polished place to celebrate, and the kitchen and bar are the reason people come back. We host private events two ways. A full buyout gives you the whole restaurant: dining room, bar, and patio. It seats 86 (56 indoors including the bar, 30 on the patio) and holds up to 140 standing. For groups of 15 to 25 we reserve a dedicated section of the dining room with no buyout required, and it can extend with the chef's counter. Menus are built around your group, from family-style holiday parties to plated dinners and our Prose Tasting. The bar offers handcrafted cocktails and a curated wine list with reserve pours. Ideal for birthdays, milestone dinners, rehearsal and engagement dinners, corporate dinners, team celebrations, showers, and holiday parties.
