Private event venue in San Diego, CA | Negociant Winery Négociant Winery is Hillcrest’s only working winery and a unique, woman-owned venue located in the heart of one of San Diego’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Unlike a traditional wine bar, our wines are produced and aged onsite, giving guests the opportunity to celebrate inside an authentic urban winery while enjoying the warmth and personality of a neighborhood gathering place. Our flexible indoor and outdoor spaces can be arranged to accommodate everything from intimate celebrations and seated dinners to cocktail-style receptions, corporate mixers, fundraisers, holiday parties, networking events, memorials and full-venue buyouts. We comfortably host groups ranging from approximately 20 to 150 guests, with multiple layout options available based on your event size, style and planned activities. Our spacious patio and tasting room can be used together or arranged to create dedicated areas for dining, socializing, presentations, entertainment and dancing. Négociant Winery also offers in-house catering prepared in our commercial kitchen, with customizable menus ranging from wine-friendly appetizers and charcuterie to buffets, taco bars, salads, sandwiches and more substantial meal options. Wine and beer service can be arranged as a hosted bar, drink-ticket package or individual guest purchases. Our team is happy to help create a food and beverage plan that works for your group, vision and budget. For corporate events, presentations and special programs, the venue offers a 75-inch television with HDMI and AirPlay capabilities, microphones and audio connections. Tables, chairs, service staff and event coordination are also available, allowing you to spend less time managing logistics and more time enjoying your gathering. Conveniently located in central Hillcrest, directly across from Starbucks, Négociant Winery offers an approachable alternative to a traditional banquet hall or hotel ballroom.
