Do not miss this opportunity to dress up and meet a wonderful crowd. Music will definitely will make you dance. There is an adjacent chess and backgammon room which was full with men who were fully concentrated on their games. Fantastic southern cuisine, I had a roasted fish on black-eyed peas , it was excellent. We took the subway on the way and back to our hotel, it was very convenient. Interiors decoration is very impressive. While music and fun going on in the main room.
See moreI had an unforgettable birthday lunch at Red Rooster Harlem! From the moment we arrived, Hostess Kayla's warm smile and special seating arrangements set the tone for a memorable experience. She knew it was my birthday! Our server, Shahkai, was attentive and ensured our drinks and meals arrived promptly. The food was wonderful, and the drinks were excellent – shoutout to the bartender for a fantastic old fashioned and my delightful espresso martini x 2! The atmosphere was lively and inspiring, with a captivating little picture frame, on the wall in front of our table, with a video showcasing NYC's rich history of dance, music, and art. But the highlight was the fabulous jazz trio and Ms. Debra's soulful vocals. She sang beautifully, and we could sing along to the familiar tunes. Debra also came over to introduce herself and blessed me and another guest with a beautiful rendition of happy birthday. Chef Marcus Samuelsson's culinary magic was the perfect complement to the afternoon. Red Rooster Harlem exceeded expectations, and we'll be back to explore more, when their full menu is available again. Kudos and thank you to the whole team, from the front to the back! If you're looking for a special spot in Harlem, this is it!
