**Private event venue in Brooklyn, NY | Cicchetti** Cicchetti is a Venetian bacaro on Howard Avenue in Bed-Stuy: a full service restaurant, wine bar, cocktail bar and jazz bar, where the wine is poured flat at one price and the food is made to be passed around the table. The kitchen runs a full menu, from our signature crostini and charcuterie boards through salads and mains, and the bar is known for its spritzes and its cocktail program. Downstairs, the Cantina is our private dining room: an Italian cellar in the old sense, where the wine lives. It seats 12 comfortably and up to 18 around a single long table, fully enclosed rather than partitioned, with its own sound system and a projector, which makes it equally suited to a birthday dinner, a book launch, a product presentation or a film screening. Because it sits below the main floor, your group has the room entirely to itself while the restaurant continues its normal service upstairs. For larger gatherings, we can set aside a section of the main dining room for semi-private parties, or arrange a full venue buyout. Mondays, when the restaurant is otherwise closed, are the easiest night for exclusive use of the whole space. Live jazz is part of what we are. Dr. Antonio Ciacca, formerly of Jazz at Lincoln Center, is our artist in residence, and a live set can be arranged for private events. Our private dining packages are built around shared, family style menus, and we are happy to adjust any menu to suit your group. We work with dietary restrictions as a matter of course. Our kitchen handles the food for private events, though we can occasionally make an exception for groups with a specific culinary tradition in mind. Cicchetti is a neighborhood place first, which is why our private events feel less like a booking and more like being hosted.
