Annie Ruth's Wine Bar and Bistro

I am here to report that I was present last night when A Star and his group were here. It appears to me that he is here to badmouth the restaurant.<br><br>His reservation was for 6 to 10… It appears the reason so small was to avoid the deposit that goes with the room. And I say that because way more arrived…not just 16 but 25. The 25 people all seemed like they were always planning on being here and yet the reservation was for 6 to 10 People. Normally when this restaurant gets large groups, they make the group pre-order or get buffet style because they have a small kitchen that can’t handle that size on a walk in.<br><br>This group misrepresented, how many people were going to be there and then we’re more rude to the waitress than anyone has ever been for the multiple years she’s worked here. Their waitress… that they harassed and insulted in their review is a teacher at a Catholic school for preschoolers. I’ve never seen her upset ever before but somehow this group accomplished that feat. I’ve never even seen the waitress, not smiling because she is the most pleasant kind woman has ever known.<br><br>This business is phenomenal. It is a black owned family business. Their food is outstanding! I love everything I’ve ever had here. Their service is tremendous, and the owners are caring and hard-working.<br><br>It’s a shame that this group misrepresented how many they would have here so they didn’t have to order and then complain about services they got. The majority of people walked out early… Canceling the food that was already being prepared in the kitchen.<br><br>I was here having dinner with my wife like we frequently do when the chaos spilled out from the back room and into the bar with people actually yelling out insults about how they felt they had been treated.<br><br>Make sure when you read people‘s opinions on here that you take them with a grain of salt. The owners will not respond the way I did. The owners will respond like they always do when there is an issue… They will be courteous and polite and except responsibility without complaint. That’s the same thing they did last night.

My girlfriends and I met for Karaoke, and we simply had a blast. The Chicken Twnders and Fries were delicious. We will return. Good clean fun and quaint establishment

We had an amazing brunch here on Sunday! The atmosphere was bright and cozy, and the "old school jams" playing in the background were the perfect touch. Our server was prompt, friendly, and incredibly helpful.<br>We ordered the waffle, French toast, and an omelette with home fries, but the omelette was HUGE, and everything arrived quickly and piping hot. My mimosa was the perfect addition. While there, I found out about their upcoming Plant Bingo event; having attended their music bingo in the past, I knew it would be a blast and signed up on the spot!<br>Pro Tip: even though I didn’t have them today, if you’re here for dinner, the risotto balls are absolutely to die for!
