The 2024 NFL Team Owners Dinner
This year marked a significant moment for Barry Dakake, a native of Johnston and graduate of La Salle Academy, as well as an alumnus of the Rhode Island School of Design. He was entrusted with organizing one of the biggest dinners of the weekend. Dakake proudly played host to all 32 NFL team owners at Barry’s Downtown Prime, situated in the heart of Vegas and renowned as one of the best restaurants with private rooms.
In an interview with WPRI, Dakake shared the story, “In every city that hosts the Super Bowl, the owner of the stadium has to throw the party for the owners,” he said. “So I’m very close with Mark Davis and he trusts my cooking, he loves my cooking. So he says, ‘Will you do me a favor, I would love for you to head the owners dinner.’”(Paige Messier, WPRI, Feb 11, 2024 / 05:54 PM EST)
